The Highball
The Highball gets its name from late 1900s bar slang where “ball” meant glass and “high” meant tall. Throw in some Scotch and some soda into a high ball and the Highball was born.
Directions
- Combine Bourbon, Ginger Ale and Club Soda in a shaker.
- Shake vigorously.
- Add ice to Highball glass.
- Pour shaken contents over ice into Highball.
- Garnish with a Lemon wedge.
